Donate Supplies
The January 12, 2010, earthquake destroyed our headquarters, our schools and much of our storage capability. From January 15, 2010 through July 30, 2010, Hands Together will focus on recovery and rebuilding efforts. To do this effectively, given the very small and limited size of staff and resources, we will limit receipt of donated supplies from the U.S. and other countries to 1, 40 foot container that will be sent from our partners at Holy Family Parish in S. Pasadena California. We carefully worked out a list of most urgent needs with them and our contact there, Karl Holtsnider, 1527 Fremont Ave, S. Pasadena, CA 91030, 626.403.6139, karlhol@holyfamily.org, will oversee the packing of this container. You may contact him if you think you have supplies we may need.
Any other materials we need, we will purchase in Haiti, thereby keeping our storage area needs to a minimum.
There is no question that we use a large part of our yearly budget for materials, supplies and goods that could have been donated to Hands Together. We hope that by providing this NEEDS LIST we will receive much needed supplies, medicines, and other materials so that we can use our precious funding dollars for salaries, capital improvements, emergency relief, training, and development projects.
